Specify an Email-Only Group

A tqAdmin (with suitable permissions) uses this procedure to specify to which email-only group are assigned Website visitors who submit their email addresses.

Before You Begin

Make sure of the following:
  • The template upon which the relevant Web page is based supports mailing lists.
  • You have permissions for the Mailing Lists module.  (For information on defining permissions, see Setting tqAdmin Permissions.)

To specify an email-only group

  1. Make sure that you are logged in to siteAddress/tqtag, as described in Log in to tqTag Site Manager.
  2. If the Languages and Categories navigation panel is not displayed, click Content module group icon.
  3. In the navigation panel, click the Category for which you are specifying one or more email-only groups.
  4. On the Content Items page, click Category Settings.
  5. On the parallel topics menu, click Assign Items to Template.
  6. On the transparent menu, under Mailing List, do the following for each email-only group that you want to specify:
    1. Click the appropriate command button.
    2. In the dialog box that opens, select the relevant email-only group.
    3. Click Save.
