Create Website Categories

Under each Language that you define in the Content navigation panel, you can create a hierarchy of Categories.  (In general, each Category becomes a Web page.)

To create a Website Category

  1. Make sure that you are logged in to siteAddress/tqtag, as described in Log in to tqTag Site Manager.
  2. If the Languages and Categories navigation panel is not displayed, click Content Module Group icon.
  3. In the navigation panel, to the right of the Language or Category under which you are creating a new Category, click Add Category icon.
  4. In the dialog box that opens, type the Category name and then click OK.
  5. To move up the Category that you created, do the following:
    1. In the navigation panel, click the Language or Category under which you created the new Category.
    2. On the parallel topics toolbar of the Content Items page, click Categories Order.
    3. On the Categories Order page, in the row of the new Category, click Up Arrow icon.
    4. If needed, keep clicking Up Arrow icon in the current row of the new Category until you get the order that you need.
  6. In the navigation panel, click the Category that you created.
  7. On the parallel topics toolbar of the Content Items page, click Categories Settings.
  8. On the Category Settings page, enter the values that you require, and then click Save.
